1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing and using the GASE (Google Apps Script Editor) extension, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must uninstall the extension and refrain from using it.
2. Service Description
GASE is a Google Chrome extension developed by Inletra that enhances the native Google Apps Script editor. The extension offers additional features such as a hierarchical file tree, visual themes, Vim keyboard shortcuts, global search, .zip project downloads, a snippet store, an AI assistant, and other productivity tools.
3. Account Registration
To use Pro plan features, the user must authorize the extension via chrome.identity with their Google account. This process generates a unique key (API key) that is stored in encrypted form in the extension's database through Inletra's API. Thanks to this encryption, not even Inletra can access the secrets of users' accounts. The only additional data Inletra stores is the user's email address and Google profile picture, exclusively for identification purposes within the extension.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
The GASE Pro plan costs $2 USD per month or $20 USD per year. All payments are processed through Dodo Payments, a third-party payment service provider used exclusively to register the user's payment method. Plan selection, trial activation, and subscription cancellation are managed directly from the extension. Inletra does not store credit card information or payment data. The subscription automatically renews at the end of each period unless canceled by the user through the extension.
5. Free Trial
New Pro plan users receive a 15-day free trial. During this period, the user has full access to all Pro features at no cost. At the end of the 15 days, if the user has not completed a paid subscription, access to Pro features is automatically blocked and the extension reverts to the free plan. No payment method is required to start the free trial.
6. Free Plan vs. Pro Plan
The free plan includes: file tree, visual themes, Vim keybindings, local snippets, .zip project downloads, compact explorer, and global search. The Pro plan includes all free plan features plus: LLM-powered AI chat assistant (ask about code, update files, create new files) and access to the snippet store (upload and download community snippets).
7. Intellectual Property
The GASE extension, including its source code, design, user interface, documentation, logos, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of Inletra and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The user acquires no ownership rights over the extension. Code snippets created by users in the snippet store belong to their respective authors, who grant a usage license to the community upon publication.
8. Limitation of Liability
Inletra provides the GASE extension 'as is', without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Inletra shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the extension, including but not limited to data loss, service interruption, or failures in the Google Apps Script editor functionality.
9. Cancellation and Refunds
The user may cancel their Pro subscription at any time through the extension, using the user profile button available in the interface. Dodo Payments is used exclusively to register the payment method; plan selection, trial activation, and cancellation are managed directly from the extension. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods. If the user cancels during the 15-day free trial, access to Pro features is immediately blocked. Once the subscription is canceled, the user retains access to previously downloaded snippets but cannot upload new snippets or use the AI assistant.
10. Modifications and Contact
Inletra reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon publication on this website.
